Venetian Blinds will not lower

To lower an aluminium venetian blind, using the raise/lower cords, pull all cords equally towards yourself and to the middle of the blind. You will hear a click when the brass cog in the mechanism releases and the blind will lower.

You may need to replace the cord lock mechanism on your aluminium venetian blind, to do so, please follow the below instructions –

Replacing tilt or cord lock
Undo the small grub screw on the end tape roll in the headrail, slide the tilt rod out of the tilt mechanism, push the tilt mechanism from outside in to the headrail while pushing in the non-return clips, then the new tilt mechanism pushes in from inside out .
