What does control side mean?

A control side is simply the side you want to operate your blinds from.

Things to keep in mind when choosing:

Height and distance - not all windows are built to be easily reached, some are super high for decorative or practical purposes.  In this instance, we would recommend going for a cordless option, such as electric roller blinds which can be operated via remote control or from your mobile phone.

Obstructions - No matter how carefully you may arrange the room, furniture can still get in the way.  Think about which side is easiest to reach in the long run when shopping for your new blind.  Any cords need to be affixed to the wall with a safety device, so that's also something that needs to be included in the planning process.

Blinds with no options - Wooden blinds come usually with a tilt control on one side and a raise control on another, so this would also be something to thing about.  However, as the slats can be tilted open or shut,  if need be, simply have the blind mostly down and just make sure that the tilt controls can be reached.  Raising the blind is recommended for regular cleaning purposes - But its up to you.
