Which way do you hang roller blinds?

When coming to hang your new roller blind, which way around should you hang it? We’ve collected some information to help you make your decision.

A Mount – Standard Roll

Towards the window pane, known as ‘A Mount’, are what roller blinds are generally, manufactured to appear. The closer the fabric is to the window pane, the higher levels of reduced noise and light pollution. This option greatly reduced the amount of sunlight bleed around the edges of the blind, especially if fitted within a window recess.

B Mount – Reverse Roll

Reversed rolled, away from the window, also known as ‘B Mount’. This is an option where the roller is rolled over towards the inside of the room.  This might be needed where a handle would normally obstruct the roller blind, or as a preference where a customer does not want to see the inside roll – especially for some blackout roller blinds where the ‘backing’ is white.
