Blue Curtains

Blue curtains work well with a range of wall colours depending on the shade. Pale blue curtains look fresh against white or light grey walls. Deeper navy or cobalt curtains create a bold look against white walls, or a rich layered scheme against other deep tones. For a coastal or relaxed feel, blue curtains pair naturally with sandy, warm neutral walls. In living rooms, soft warm whites and light greige walls are the most universally flattering backdrop for blue curtains.

Blue is one of the most enduringly popular curtain colours. Deeper shades like navy, cobalt, and midnight blue have been particularly strong in recent years as part of the shift towards more considered, maximalist interiors. Softer blues work well in bedrooms and bathrooms where a calm, serene feel is the goal. Blue curtains in velvet or linen fabrics look particularly current and work across a wide range of interior styles.
